Samsung making RFID Chips for Mobile Devices??
It is not exactly clear on what these “chips” will actually do, but you can bet that these will be embedded in many new mobile phones coming to the market in the near future.
“According to market research firm RoA Group, the global demand for mobile RFID is expected to grow from $26.9 billion in 2007 to $701 billion by 2010, for a compound annual growth of 196 percent.”

New Samsung M4650 Multi-Touch Phone Coming Soon!
A Windows Mobile 6 Professional device is coming from Samsung real soon. Samsung claims that the device is “Multi-Touch” but many are saying that it does not support Multi-Touch at all. There are not much details about the M4650 but we do know this so far…

Samsung i780 Coming Soon!
Samsung has finally announced the GSM Samsung i780. The i780’s design is similar to the Blackjack but offers Windows Mobile Professional (Pocket PC) instead of the Windows mobile Standard (Smartphone).Specs:
- Windows Mobile 6 Professional
- Tri-band GSM
- HSDPA and WiFi b/g
- 320 x320 resolution display
- Built in GPS
- Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR (Enhanced Data Rate)
- 3.2 Megapixel camera

Samsung Blackjack II with GPS Coming to AT&T
A new version of the Cingular Blackjack is coming to an AT&T store near you. The phone offers the same sleek design with an upgraded Windows Mobile 6 Standard OS. The phone also offers built in GPS; a feature we do not see that often in Smartphones. Although this device has been “upgraded” there is still NO WiFi!!

Samsung SPH 9200; Best UMPC design EVER?
The SPH P9200 makes other Samsung UMPC’s look like garbage…
The way the P9200 opens is hard to explain so maybe this will help…
The P7200 will have the following specs:
- Windows XP
- Via C7-M processor (BS, but maybe you need to look at the design again)
- 30 GB hard drive
- 1.3 megapixel camera
- WiFi
- HSDPA
- WiMAX
- Sim Card slot (hopefully with built in GSM line… but most likely only for data)
- 5 inch touch display with a resolution of 800x 480

Conclusion:
The P9200 is no doubt an excellent UMPC. This being the first prototype explains the lack of good specs. However in the near future Samsung will definitly release another version with Windows Vista, better battery performance and a faster CPU. There is no word on Pricing or release data but we will keep you posted!!
Samsung SHG-i780, Pocket PC with built in Mouse & GPS!!
The i780 is a new device coming from Samsung which is similar to the i607 but offers Windows Mobile 6 Professional with touch-screen display. The new i780 is the first of it’s kind because it offers all the advanced features of Windows Mobile like WiFi & GPS in such a small package. Currently there is no official release date and pricing but we will keep you updated!!

Samsung Introduces 8GB Micro SDHC Memory!!
If you thought that 4GB micro SD was insane….THINK AGAIN. Samsung has just annoucned that they have successfully made a 8GB micro sd card and will be on sale within the next year. 4GB is already pretty new and went on sale just a little while ago…. What`s next; 16GB and 32GB
