HTC to make Windows Mobile devices for Sony Ericsson??

This is still a “rumour” and not yet confirmed by either HTC or Sony Ericsson. This would be a smart move for Sony Ericsson considering how bad there PDA phones are…especially with those BS keyboards!!

Lets hope that this merger goes through because that would mean more Windows Phones for all of us!! All other major manufatures already make Windows Mobile phones; Motorola, Samsung, HTC. Currently Sony Ericsson and Nokia are the only ones left not manufacturing Windows devices and if this deal goes through Nokia is going to feel pretty lonely!!

Syncing Windows Mobile with Vista; No more Active Sync!!

In the past with Windows XP you needed a program called Activesync installed in order send/copy files. Now with Windows Vista all you need to do is plug and play (PnP). When you connect your device to your computer either using Bluetooth or USB your device will automatically show up in My computer. You are then able to copy files back and forth from your phone or memory card without hvaing to install any extra programs.

If you want to sync your device with your computer all you need to do is download Windows Mobile Device Center.

With the device center you can sync your email, contacts, calender appointments, pictures, music and videos. The Windows Mobile Device Center is similar to Activesync but a lot less buggy and has a better UI. The Device center is not only for devices with Windows Mobile 6 but also for WM2003 and WM5.
